However, she doesn't roll the crepes, she layers them and then cuts them into slices (almost how you would slice a pie) and serves them in chicken broth.

Here is a pic from my bowl this past week when she made them: http://monosnap.com/image/p1QTe8xIU9uWAsw7kakjPSsotF28y1Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06003005207365925430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4191681270252851547.post-61151700211316708882013-12-22T17:09:56.754+01:002013-12-22T17:09:56.754+01:00Thank you for your comments. I am looking forward to trying it myself. I would also like to try making a dessert with them. Something similar to cheese blintzes but maybe with a sweetened mascarpone cheese and some fruit topping. Jen, thank you for the compliment on the rosemary chickens and the scrippelles. I will be making scrippelles in your kitchen this Christmas.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01554846189889582258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4191681270252851547.post-86776400398939320242013-12-11T15:29:55.385+01:002013-12-11T15:29:55.385+01:00My mother and father were from Abruzzo and I have ...My mother and father were from Abruzzo and I have eaten scrippelle soup all my life. I also like to make the scrippelles and fill them with sweetened ricotta and make homemade manicotti. The scrippelle make it so light and delicious. I have gotten so many compliments every time I make them. I mix mozzarella cheese, egg, sugar and spices with the ricotta like when you make ravioli.
Um, Um, Um Good!!!!!Lindanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4191681270252851547.post-40695066184625477992013-10-20T02:15:18.748+02:002013-10-20T02:15:18.748+02:00Debbie is my mother-in-law!
